Vintage Hand Painted Carved Wood Wall Plaque J Roy St Jean Quebec Carving 21" + 1970s Guy laroche The piece measures 22 inThis is a large hand carved wood wall plaque that is hand painted with a scene of a cabin in the country during the winter, a typical Quebec scene. The plaque is signed at the bottom right with J Roy St Jean. This is very well done with good dimensionality, obviously by someone with both talent and technique. It is difficult to date, but does have the look of a piece from the 1920 1930s period. The piece measures 9 1 4 in height by 21 3 8 in width and
